How to cluster words based on their meaning? Any idea about this data mining concept ?

I wouldn't know exactly how to work this out, but perhaps put them in the same group if they are synonyms of each other? Other than that, there are resources online for learning NLP that might help you out. ..

It depends on the language you are using, at least in my native language I would be looking for common etymological roots and group by that.

Well by root I just mean etymologically speaking but it is strongly dependent on the language, for example from the greek "chronos" in Spanish every word with this root means something related to "time", cronograma, cronometría, sincronizar, cronológico, etc. probably in your language it's different. ..

Create a lookup table of each words as key and its synonyms as values. Find the similarities based on the key value pairs and cluster them accordingly. For more accuraccy, model each word as vectors, categorize the vectors using cosine similarity or jaccard index . ReIterate the process on the created clusters.
