fedora overheating problem

I am using fedora on my laptop . the problem is arousing that whenever i use to work on fedora my laptop overheats just like i am playing some type of call of duty game . well i then replaced the fedora with linux mint and open suse still the problem remains the same pls anyone can help me with this ?

If u get the same problem with different operating systems then it must be a problem 1) heat vents are closed with dust. Open and clean it. 2) with thermal paste right on the processor.

My first bet would be dust blocking ventilation. Seriously you should clean computer from dust atleast every 6 months...

My laptop also dell inspiron n5110 i use only ubuntu and there is no overheats problem but try to fix your nvidia driver

Check the hard ware and kernel update and if its OK, change to ubuntu or cylonlinux.
